Merino Advantage represents an exciting development in the marketing of wool. In the past most Wool Growers have not been able to reach consumers or leverage their clip with marketing, but this is now changing as The Merino Company (TMC) has assembled a tremendous network of personnel across the globe.
TMC are dedicated to promoting your wool with a range of Retailers and Brand customers who are ready for the fresh approach and tailored marketing now available to assist them. Customers are able to buy more than just the quality product on the shelf – they are buying into something much bigger and this is what sets Merino Advantage apart from other methods of getting your wool to the pipeline.
Ultimately this program is moving wool away from commodity status and allowing Merino Advantage growers to participate in a unique way and realize the benefits.

X-Bred Advantage is a marketing initiative being offered to woolgrowers by Lempriere Fox & Lillie (LFL) in conjunction with The Merino Company (TMC). A partnership between woolgrowers, LFL and TMC.
Traditionally, there has been too little communication between the wool grower, through to the person who eventually wears the product. X-Bred Advantage changes that, by creating a demand-driven supply chain that aligns Australian wool growers in a direct link with customers and the end-user. The overall aim is to bring stability and growth to all partners participating in the supply chain.
X-Bred Advantage aims to build long term sustainable relationships with Customers (manufacturers and retail brand partners) who sell X-Bred wool based products to the final Consumer. These relationships are the platform to deliver price stability and price premiums to those woolgrower participants via TMC’s unique wool marketing initiatives and solutions, delivery of consistent quality, and continuity of supply to the customer.
